Mr B’s Christmas Catalogue Review 2018
This is a brilliant historical adventure that centres on a 15 year old Jewish girl left stranded in Nazi Europe. A mysterious man, mindful of her innate skills at deception and survival, places her in an elite Nazi girls school to help scupper plans for a devastating new turn in the war effort. This is a novel that doesn’t pull its punches and is probably not for the faint hearted but my eldest daughter loved the edginess and action taking place amidst a particularly vivid setting.
